can anyone tell me if this is a good internal optical drive to buy? or are there any other better ones to get?

I bought two LG DVDRWs before Christmas and both had a fault within days of being installed (bought at different times and installed in different PCs). I'll be avoiding LG for a while. The Sony I bought instead has been fine for months now.

Bought a LG Bluray drive over xmas, software supplied with it didn't work out of the box or after self updating. Took some time to hunt down the obscure section of their site where they gave the necessary update to make it work with windows7...
Not that impressed overall but eventually got there0
