Having read these boards for some time, I have yet to hear a good word about any of them.

    Be very careful.
    Been away for a while.
  • They usually offer 60-70% of market value

You would be better of reducing your asking price and inviting offers......you are more likely to walk away with more money doing it this way.

How much is it on the marker for now and what are others selling for?
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

  • i have a thread going at the moment in this forum,,,we chose the propery buying companies,,,little choice with the area we were in,,,few houses for sale around us,,,none selling,,,even reposesed houses that were cheap.

    the figures.....

we bought our house 10 yrs ago of local authority £19,000
we sold to property company they offered us £58,000
    other companies offered us £52,000-£55,000

lots of messing about from them through the process but they came up trumps in the end.
our firm was a local liverpool firm.
property company got ours valued at £85,000 and offered us £58,000

but we were happy to get off the street.
