Alternative to BT Basic?

Is there any other company offering a similar service to BT Basic? Dont have a phone line installed and cant afford BTs £124.99 installation fee!

You can get a new line installed for free. Details here and various posts on this forum. The call charges on BT basic are expensive but with a standard BT line you could use other call carriers e.g. 18185 etc.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
thanks for that, I did just ask them using the live chat feature on the website and they said Id have to pay!! I know its expensive but its more for family to contact me, Thanks again! 0
