Hi there
Unfortunately, due to the large volumes of these complaints, this can vary, if straight forward without any hiccups as from when the case is passed on to an adjudicator, 6 weeks, but many have been waiting for even 2 years.
However, if in hardship, its best to let the FOS know, and ask if they can reconsider fast tracking.
If you have one with an adjudicator, good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long.
Also the waiting time can be quite long whilst waiting for it to be passed on to an adjudicator as well.
So basically timescale wise there are none, but if the other party goes along with the adjudicators decision it should not take long, otherwise if they don't then normally its then passed on to the ombudsman which again is some waiting.
Hope this gives you some idea, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
