Kitchen worktop joiner

I have a granite style kitchen worksurface which has a join in it. The substance used to join it is being worn away - its only 1 year old
Any idea what the substance is so I can refil the join or can anyone suggest a better suited joiner that might last a bit longer?
Many thanks in advance

Do you know what the worktop is actually made off? The best bet would be to go back to the fitters as long as you were happy with them as it should still be under gurantee.0

If Steve's suggestion fails, I would use a coloured silicon to fill it. This is what has been used for my worktop joint.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
