a little bit of advice with carers allowance

good afternoon

me and my wife used to both get carers allowance.

Now my grandad died in october and i had the 8 week run on with carers that finished on the 28th december.

We put in a adult dependant increase in forme on my wifes carers as i am now the full time parent for a our 2 year old until she goes too nursery at the end of this year.

And i was the main claiment for income support, but they have said this will have to change to my wife.

Would the amount of money change at all or stay roughly the same as it was before my grandad passed away.

Ive tried entitledto but im not sure it shows the correct amount.

any advice would be great.
cheers

Because carers allowance is taken £1 for £1 off your income support you should just lose the amount of the carers premium which is £29.50 a week.
  • thankyou.

i gonna have to change our budget. although its not the end of the world.

    Thankyou
