Garage damaged my car

Did all the running around today. Took it to 2 independent garages. The estimated cost to repair what can visually be seen is approx £850. In addition, one of them is not sure what the bumper is hiding - he looked under the bonnet and could see something "hanging" - so that could be something else.Sorry to quote myself but has it been checked for any other damage?
I should add these were the findings:
Replace front bumper bar
Replace grille
Replace both headlamps
Repair wing
Repair/realign front panels
Adjust headlamps

I`m sad my prediction came true. A bodged repair by halfbakes. Get it up them. Did you contact their public liability insurers and HSE? Sounds to me like they thought they would chance their hand with a bodge repair in the hope you wouldn`t notice, then made up some porkies when you queried it.0
