Day out - Feb - ideas please!

It's my birthday in February and being so grown up (lol!), I was wanting to go to Legoland with a few friends
But, they're not open til March - gutted!
So, I'm looking for ideas of days out within one and half hour drive of Salisbury. I wasn't necessarily going to Legoland for the rides. I've thought about Kew Gardens but it won't be the best this time of year. I've also thought about a day pass to Centerparcs but that would work out very pricey!
Can anyone help?

I just clicked on the link and it's all LA Fitness. As it said spa offers I was hoping for massage, facial, manicure, that sort of thing.
Thanks anyway!0 -

I would recommend Kew at this time of year as they have the tropical etravaganza happening from the 6th Feb. Went last year and it was spectacular. The Xstrata treetop walkway is also good with the winter landscape. There is always lots to see and do!

If you want a model village like lego town-you could look at Baconsfield Model village. Open from the 13 Feb.

Guillivers Theme park, Milton Keynes is open during the Feb half term, It would be just over an hour and half away. It is aimed at smaller children, but Legoland has similar rides.

Also another thought, The 4 star reading Copthorne Majestic hotel in Reading has £10 (£11.75 incl VAT) rooms. My sister stayed there for her friends birthday and you have use of the pool, sauna included in your room price plus there is an onsite beauty treatment place for facials etc, if you want to book these. Think most weekends gone now in Feb, but you may get a weekday. It is one room per customer, so you and friends can each book a room.
