When malwarebytes was running its normal scan it came up with
C:\Users\THOMAS\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\svchost.exe (Backdoor.Bot)
After googling it I found out irs a backdoor trojan, but also found out windows uses the svchost, exe to run
is it safe for me to remove this without messing up windows?
Thanks

Whilst I'm not an expert, I say it is perfectly safe for you to remove the fake svchost.exe file as it is in a completely different place to the real ones.0 -
