HELP PLS! Forgetting to tell council tax benefit people, more than once

    No one on here can give you any guarantees about what will or won't happen but you need to do as advised and contact the council. Only your council can tell you what will happen next but if you are ok speaking to them yourself, pop down and see them, or ask for an interview so that you can work yourself up to it.
    I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.

    :embarasseEmbarrassingly, when I spoke to the chap at the council tax office, he told me I had already notified the office of the tax refund in October.

    Still, I'd rather look a fool by ringing twice, than burying my head in the sand by not ringing at all.
