Doing that would have got them blacklisted by or penalised by google. Hidden text is a serious no-no in site content.
Keywords relevent to the site hidden are taken as a sneaky way to trick a higher ranking, they hate that and their bots look for it.
It's not that hard to find this when you consider it will only fit in certain areas of the site without mucking up the purpose of the section.
By the statement of how they don't like people sharing comp answers...it gives the impression they run comps a lot doesn't it ?
