New Clutch
Had a new clutch fitted a coupleof days ago, only used the car so far to run back from the garage and run the kids to school yesterday.
Now before the cluth felt different, not heavy but as you would expect and the bite point was around 2/3 of the way up (i.e. when you lift your foot it was about 2/3 of the way between the floor and the position the pedal is in when resting) Now with the new clutch it is very light, and was quite a shock when driving, and the bit point is very low down, around 1/4 of the way up from the floor.
Is this right or should I take it back to the garage.

A new clutch will feel completely different. Is it engaging and changing gear ok? Did the garage ask you to come back after 1000 miles anyway so they can check everything is ok?0

Gear changiung is very smooth, just getting used to having to plant my foot so far down, had car 4 years with old clutch so is a big change.
The garage said nothing about going back, just that I had a 2 year warranty. I only do about 4000 miles a year anyway.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
