They said they would give me the credit limit along with the card in the post.
It won't be in my wallet - I'm cutting it up so I don't spend! It's just there for my balance transfer.
Though it does make me wonder why banks say "you must earn £x" but accept those with considerably lower incomes. Not that I'm complaining......

Yeah income is a guideline - if you earn less but tick all the boxes and exceed some criteria by a long way (i.e. it says three months at current address but you've been there years) it evens out their credit scoring process.
