    I think they tend to undercut local vets on routing things like speying and neutering, but then often charge more for other treatments and ops, and I believe they do not offer an out of hours emergency service. I would rather give my local vet my trade, as they offer help 24/7, have been established for years and have a very good reputation to uphold.

    Mine offers an out of hours emergency service - not that I've ever actually used it, but a friend of mine had to take her dog in about 11pm one night after it had been hit by a car. I had a daytime emergency with Missy & they told me to come in in fifteen mins & didn't charge me for checking her over.
    I agree I would usually support an independant vet but the nearest to me are a 15-20 min drive away whereas Companion Care is about a 3 minute drive so convenient as well!
