Im hoping to develop an outdoor space for children into an eco garden and im looking for plants and herbs ect

Does any one know where I can get these for free or very cheap?

poundland have packs just now
there is a thread about it
i got some yesterday

you get six varieties in one pack, for yes, £1
you can get free seeds here and there, but usually only one or 2 packs

the poundland ones have between 60-250 seeds in each of the 6 packets, so very good value, they have flowers, herbs & veggie ones, and packs like grow your own salsa, so they could make that once grown
they also have fruit bushes for £1, blueberry, raspberry & redcurrants!

I'd possibly use this method instead of buying the pots.
Although the terracotta ones are on special offer, they do dry out quite quickly...and 11cm is quite small..

Post an appeal on freecycle - it always amazes me what a great result people get for these types of appeals! Last year, I gave all my excess veg plants away to a lady who was running a gardening scheme at a local school.

some websites do seed swaps like growyour own, but quite ofetn they are willing to send you the seed in exchange for a SAE you could try that
