i have netgear and lately the wiress router has been going from local and internet to just local and not letting me on the net
I have to keep switching the router on and off
Can anyone tell me if the router is knackered or is something wrong with my ip?
Not sure if its the router or internet

Which netgear router is it, does it occur at random times or the same time each day0

sounds like there's nothing wrong with your router but your losing your internet connection via your phone line. Router doesn't display "local" or "internet" your network connection icon does on your pc and i think this is what your refering to.0

Do you happen to have Zonealarm? I had this prob with my belkin router, and got rid of Zonealarm, so far so good. I Put on PC tools firewall(as alienrik uses).He is my hero!!!lol0
