  • I am convinced security code 100 means shoplifter alert! I popped in for party treats this morning and left with a 6ft and 5ft tree and box of crackers for 30p. Delighted!

Just thought i would give everyone a heads up all christmas stock will be 10p this Fri in Wilkinson, this includes all christmas stock and trees.great if your thinking of getting a new tree.

Wow...thanks so much OP for your post! I went in and bought 3 Christmas trees, 2 big boxes of Christmas crackers for this Christmas, loads of decorations which we desperately needed, present bags, wrapping paper, tags, etc, etc, - came to £3.20!!?! :T:rotfl:

Lady on the till who served me was laughing with me when she gave me the total to pay - such a bargain!?!! One tree for my sis, and the other for me and will sell other one this Nov! Couldnt carry anymore....!

Poor checkout lady, bless her....:( In keeping with what I had read on here already, she said she didn't know about the reduction to 10p in store Friday, until AFTER she'd signed on the till for the day, so i said can't you buy some stuff on your break?? And she said no, they're not allowed to...seems abit unfair....surely that should be one of the (apparently few) perks of the job?!

Anyway, many thanks again Op - a true money saving bargain - almost unbelievably cheap!

Despatched hubby last night at 5.30pm. He returned with 3 rolls wrapping paper, 2 bags gift tags, lip gloss and pencils, napkins x 2 and gift bags. I was delighted! He returned this morning and bought another 12 rolls of wrapping paper! There was only few bits of tat left though.

Thanks OP, you are a top banana!

If anyone wants to travel down to my store (Walton on Thames) We still have loads of Xmas trees in the stock room so if you happen to pop in, just ask any one of the staff to go and get you one/some! :T;)
Manager only allowed us staff to buy 1 tree each :o so the rest are just lying around in the stock room! Loads of 6ft trees and even some slimline 6ft Black ones left!:j:j We also have gift tags and crackers left.

Only Christmas stock, this also includes Crackers! I work there and can also confirm it is all stores and not available online! :j

Best bargains to be had are the Xmas trees, some with an RRP of £20/£25 you can now get for 10p!! :T:j The stock left will vary from store to store obviously, but since the company doesn't advertise its sales in the media, the MS'ers on here will probably get first pick!

You can always ring your local store to check availability if you have a certain product in mind, but we can't reserve or keep any to the side for customers as it's first come first served! :D

    HI

As a very open & honest worker for Wilkinsons, would you know when the 75% off sale starts on the toys, Im keeping my eye on the Trolley / Supermarket stand thats currently half price at £15, would be an absolute bargain if I could get it for £7.50?

    In anticipation with kind regards

Sorry for the delay in replying, this thread had slipped off page one so fast :o

So far there's been no talk of toys being reduced further, which i think is quite odd as we still have quite a few left that just aren't selling.
Of course i will post on here to let you know when i find out more ;) :jas i haven't heard it officially yet!
