Old Marbles Credit Card - PPI Enquiry

Hi guys,
I took out a Marbles Credit Card back in 2001 or 2002.
With it, I got mis-sold some PPI.
In 2008, MBNA took over the card, and just before Christmas I successfully claimed back almost £500 of charges back to 2008.
But they were unable to go back to the card start date, as they didn't own it then.
Numerous phonecalls later, and I'm still no further down the line.
I spoke to Marbles directly, and they have no record of my account. Weirdly, the card is (or was) a Marbles emblazoned card. But they seemed to think it was probably operated by another company under the marbles name.
So, next step I called the ombudsman for advice, and they told me to call Bank of Scotland.
They have no record of my details on their system, so now I'm at a total loss what to do!
There must be a fair few £1000's to claim back!
Has anyone experienced this, or can anyone suggest what I can do next?
Simon

You need to contact MBNA and advise them to follow the process for "AVIEMORE" in order to get your older statements. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
