Nintendo DSi - Failed Repair - Advice Needed.

Hi,

I recently bought a Nintendo DSi (2 months ago) but unfortunately it got broken (top screen stopped working) after being dropped. I found a place on ebay that specialises in Nintendo DS repairs and sent it to them at the start of this month (January) and finally received it back a few days ago. The top screen has been repaired, but I've just noticed that the microphone is no longer working. I phoned them up and they've asked me to send it back to them, but I'm worried that they will try and charge me for the repair of the microphone. I know the microphone was working before I sent it to them, so what are my rights? Also, do I have to pay for the postage to send it back to them? As that alone will cost me over £5.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Thank you ^__^

I emailed them when I sent my ds and they emailed me a free postage label for there service centre, was just a case of printing off and putting on the front of the parcel. As for the it not working i'm sure if you explain it was fine before they won't charge, I've found nintendo to be very good. ;)

I don't think it was Nintendo who repaired the OP's!
