If they had not sold Ronaldo it would be, I think the £500M Bond issue tell everyone that the debt is getting out of control.
If there debt was decreasing I might agree.0 -

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon in the away end of White Hart Lane on the 12th December - not sure there was much atmosphere in the home end towards the end though. :rotfl::D:beer::D:beer::D:beer::D:beer::D:beer::D:beer:
Post of the day!
I have fond memories of my radio that day!
That was a long 87 minutes! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

You forget the inexplicable amount of second-half injury time! With 1st and 2nd half injury time, we had to hold on for about 95 minutes! I still can't believe we did it! It was a great afternoon with a superb view in the corner, second row in the top tier. :beer:Politics is not the art of the possible. It is quite clear that things are not going to plan at Old Trafford.
I posted as much on page 1 of this thread.
Sir Humphrey, I'm sure you'll remember that we were literally 4 minutes away from bankruptcy - the local council stepped in at 4.56pm & agreed to bail the club out. Had they not done so, Wolverhampton Wanderers would've ceased to exist.
Generally, I believe that as a result the vast majority of wolves fans will never wish the same to happen to any other club. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Depends how much you value Ronaldo I guess ;-)
Actually my post was meant to be quite general, not a specific address to anyone though it might have looked that way. I just come across a lot of reporting on football clubs that tends to complete miss the point on corporate finances and it annoys me.0 -

He's a to$$er but a great player. Okay, he wanted to leave Fergie behind so he could model kecks like Beckham did, but this does not explain the (pay related AIUI) departure of Carlos Tevez!Politics is not the art of the possible. As for taking money out of the company, firstly as I pointed out above it is the Glazer's company. It's no-one else's business what they do with it. If you had a windowcleaning business and were not allowed to take money out of it you would think it was ridiculous. Same issue here.
r.
The problem is the fans think it is their clubIf they can stick together next season and not renew season tickets it will be BYE BYE GLAZER
No 20,000 strong waiting list now.
