Should i just go with the big brand or go for a better spec system built by PC Specialist?

    Thanks.

As mentioned, total overkill mate, those specs and price are way of the top for your requirement, any standard twin cpu will handle your requirement and you would be looking to spend less than 400, do you really need a 23 inch monitor? if its just for an office table you can pickup 21" for £110 or even 19 for £80.

Sorry just realised i hadn't replied to you.

I want a large monitor as i have bad eyesight & wear strong perscription glasses.

Also after using a 15inch laptop screen for 3 years a nice wide one would be nice.

think your boss would let you get a second monitor for a dual screen setup, might make life alot easier for you...
