As mentioned, total overkill mate, those specs and price are way of the top for your requirement, any standard twin cpu will handle your requirement and you would be looking to spend less than 400, do you really need a 23 inch monitor? if its just for an office table you can pickup 21" for £110 or even 19 for £80.

I want a large monitor as i have bad eyesight & wear strong perscription glasses.
Also after using a 15inch laptop screen for 3 years a nice wide one would be nice.0 -

Have you noticed that this computer has Windows 7 Home, whereas the Dell specified earlier has Windows 7 Professional? Have you thought about which edition you need?Je suis Charlie.0 -

Received the new system last week.
Been using it for the last week and it's excellent.
Very fast changing between programs etc.
