Brand recommendations for built in appliances please

I may be looking for new appliances post flood.
I want to find out what are the best brands for reliability etc. I would rather pay for build quality than fancy features I'll never use.
I need appliances for a built in kitchen.
For starters I'd like to hear (particularly from professionals in the field) about brand recommendations for a washing machine and a fridge.
All information gratefully received!
Thanks in advance.

Not entirely sure yet as I haven't heard back from the Loss Adjuster. Previous items were no-name built in appliances from Howdens/MFI.
I am considering topping up whatever the adjuster gives me, if this gives me substantially better reliability (top priority).
Could you give me recomended brands for different budgets?
Thanks0 -
£300 will get you Hotpoints/Electrolux/Beko etc.
£600 will get you a good mid range German washing machine (Neff/Bosch) and a dishwasher will probably cost about the same.
Top of the range around £800-1000, Miele, Gaggenau etc.
These are only ballpark figures.0 -
I'd thoroughly recommend Bosch for all appliances, especially washing machine and dishwasher-very quiet too0

Built-in appliances generally retail much higher than free-standing ones. Having worked in a large electrical department i can tell you that the vast majority of built-in appliances i sold were Neff and we very rarely had any problems with them. The John Lewis branded appliances aren't bad either, slightly cheaper than Neff and they are made my Electrolux and aren't too bad quality wise. If you have the budget for it then Miele are very good too.0

We had our kitchen installed 13 years ago and it was all Neff products
we replaced freezer last year the fridge and dishwasher still going strong.

We had CDA oven and hob fitted with our new kitchen. I can't turn the hob on as I can't get the child locks off (my problem) but the oven has just packed in after 3 years, so don't buy these.

Bosch for white goods and Neff for ovens or hobs are you after an electric or gas hob as Smeg stuff is nice.0

Why dont you take a look on reevoo? Its all reviews from people who actually bought the ovens / hobs/ appliances etc, who give honest unbiased opinions. Well worth a look. Helped me buy my new hob and oven!0
