Train - break journey how much?
I have a off peak single ticket from London to Preston (£39), I want to stop off in Manchester for a few hours on the return leg, all this Saturday.
Can I do this with this ticket? If not how much will they charge me?
This website says I can: hxxp://www.seat61.com/UKtravel.htm

And this website almost says you can...Break of journey
You may start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station along the route of travel on Off-Peak tickets unless the ticket restriction for the journey you are making does not allow it. If you intend to start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station, please call 08457 48 49 50 to check if it is available on your specific journey.0
