First Capital Connext - travel fine appeal - uncashed cheque
I received a £20 fine for travelling between Moorgate and New Soutgate on 29.09.09. About 8 weeks later, I received a letter requesting payment of £37.10 within 7 days. I sent a cheque for the full amount within the 7 days to the address requested. The cheque was supported by my account details and had the fine reference written on the back.
The cheque has still not been cashed. Unfortunately, I can't find the letter sent to me from either FCC or their revenue protection team. FCC aren't responding to emails I send to customer support through the website. Customer service gave me a number for revenue protection in Portsmouth who cannot find me on the system.. I want to make sure they have received the cheque before I receive another letter demanding an increased fine for late payment.
Can anyone help with a contact number?
