in Credit cards
Morning all,
The boyf and I are finally starting to get a bit of a break with regards to paying our debt off :T
My credit report is not great but his is glossy. I have made a concious effort to keep all of our money stuff seperate so that it never effects his credit whilst I rebuild my own. Just wondering if you think doing a Santander Zero Balance transfer is a good idea?
Boyf:
Santander Current account
Santander ISA
Virgin credit card with £900 outstanding (No missed payments)
Me:
Natwest Solo Account
Capital One Classic £250 outstanding
Barclays Initial £270 outstanding
Is it possible that we can balance transfer my credit cards on to this as well and pay them off in one lump sum but still keep this soley in his name???
Thanks for your help.
Mel

Sure, no reason why not. It means the debt not only is in his name, but it's solely his responsibility. Either brave or generous of him depending on your point of view
