MBNA credit card - compromised details

Hi

My boyfriend got a letter from MBNA yesterday about his creditcard, apparently one of their appointed vendors 'may' have compromised my boyfriend's personal details. The FSA and police are looking into it and all MBNA have offered to do is give him 12 months free on Experian.

Is he entitled to anything else?

Thanks

No. What else does he think he might be entitled to ? MBNA have apologised and paid for a credit check service.

He might want to look into CIFAS protective registration, and if he does I'd think it reasonable to ask MBNA to pay for that.

  • What would you like them to reasonably offer?
