Credit Card Problem

Hi,
I got my barclaycard statement yesterday and there was a charge on there which I did not make back in September, So i called up the customer service and got through a indain call centre and was told that they can't do anything and that I would have to pay it, I spoke to a manager and he said the same.
They would not listen and just kept on saying that I would have to pay for it, is this correct? I have sent a complaint letter to them this morning.
Anything I can do?..
Any help/advice will be appreciated

Barclaycard call centres say no more !
