I dont know if anyone can help me but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to know who might be the best to switch to on prepayment i am with scottish power for dual fuel atm but i am thinking about switching to someone else. Even though i have a prepayment meter i've never been in debt with any gas & elec company but they wont put a diff meter in because i live in a council flat and its also the area i live in.
Also when i switch i know 100% i am in credit with my electric but i havent had a gas bill/statement from them as yet, so i dont know how i go about sorting them out. Also i have been with them about 12 months i think, so will i be able to switch without problems??
Thanks
Lisa

If you mean you want a credit meter you will find some companies charge fees and often require a deposit-depends on your credit score.0

You can use the comparison sites in the resource bar above to identify the best supplier/tariff for you ... even with a pre-payment meter.
In the absence of any bill/statement showing consumption, contact your existing supplier and request your annual consumption figures in kWh."Now to trolling as a concept. .... If you wish to transfer to a credit meter, try contacting other suppliers directly and see if they will accomodate you.
Different suppliers have different policies on replacing a PPM with a credit meter."Now to trolling as a concept. .... EDF will switch prepayment meters over to proper meters when you have been with them on prepayment for 1 month0
