Changing Gas And Electric on Key Meter
Hi
I've just moved into a new flat, and the gas and electric are on key meters.
Is it possible to change my supplier even though I'm on a key meter or am I tied to whoever supplied the meter?
If I can change it, which companies do you reccomend?
Its a 2 bed flat with central heating.

Yes you can change suppliers if you have a prepayment meter fitted. The only time you will have problems switching is if you have debt that you are repaying via the meter.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
