when should I submit the tax-return? please help

Anyone can help here? Thanks in advance! I registered self-employment last April. I haven't received any self-assessment form from the revenue. I know the the deadline for filing by post is 31 October which was past already. So should I submit the tax-return by Jan 31st online or I will do it this Oct? Any reply will be very much appreciated:beer:

The current deadline is for the Tax Year 08/09, you registered self-employed in year 09/10, so your tax return is not due until 31st Jan 2011.

I am guessing that your start date for self employment was after 5th April 2009, whch means that you will need to self assess for tax year 2009-10. This can be done between aprox. April 2010 and Jan. 31st 2011.
