  • Ames, borders Uk has gone into administration, whereas Borders America is still going strong - they've got a functioning website. Yeah, as I can't wait to visit NY city again and spend hours browsing round the 3 floors of books.

OMG there is the BEST bookshop ever in NY - its near Washington Sq - full of seconds and super cheap plus academic books - it made me seriously drool when I was in there ;)

Evening all :D Have been out running but had to cut short as have a bit of a stomach bug thing...hope its gone tomorrow!
  • Becky, tis a good job I didn;t find it as my OH would have got seriously annoyed with me. He's not a huge book fan and didn't understand why I needed to take 4 books with me on our 8 day holiday!!

    :hello: everyone....

seems the bug I had at christmas is doing the rounds...

Sally...stupid ebay people.....if its any consolation when i was ill at christmas with the sickness bug I also had a really bad back, I had to wear heat patches for three days so it could just be part of that.

I take loads of books on holiday with me...

Bookie...you are too good for tescos - no consolation I know...

I want chickens but I would be scared of foxes getting them...

I just read through the chat and there was loads I wanted to reply to but I have forgotten it all now...

Ames..I did the napster trial last night, I wanted the new Glee album....I managed to download one last night no problem. Tried to download the rest, and they came up with error whilst downloaded.....

Guess what...when I logged back into Napster they are marked as downloaded and they are nowhere to be found....

I have emailed napster and am waiting for a reply, they are a bit slow....might ring them tomorrow.

    Hi Sammy :)

Ames you can get a return for about £300 although if you are really sneaky you can go lower - I paid £220 for mine last April but its a case of watching the prices every day like a hawk...
