AEG L52810 Washer not spining

I've got a problem with this 3 year old washer. It seems to stuggle to spin, has a few goes, sometimes does, sometimes doesn't. Especially with a heavy load, but it has seemed OK washing similar loads in the past.

Pump works fine, checked brushes tonight, about 1/3 worn, with about an inch of carbon left, so not them.

Was thinking of out of balance, especially as machine tries to unravel, and rebalance load after an aborted spin, before trying again. Both springs and dampers seem fine, and fitted correctly, damper weight is secure, motor is secure, main bearings have no play. Did notice it had been boucing about a bit on spin over the past few weeks (maybe more).

I ran it through a cycle with nothing in it and it went through the cycle fine.

This is one of the basic AEG's without the digital display, so no error codes. Any ideas ? Or does this sound like being overloaded ? Thanks
