I am flying out to barcelona from bristol on the 5th february at 10am, returning at birmingham on the 8th at 12.30pm


i live in margate, my parents live not far from oxford, close to didcot parkway

here are my options
CAR : margate - abingdon 150 miles approx £22.50
TRAIN didcot to bristol meads - £15 arriving approx 9
AIRPORT TRANSFER bristol meads to airport £6

then

TRAIN birmingham to oxford dep approx 16 arr approx 17 £7.90
CAR: abingdon - margate 150 miles £22.50

total

TRAIN westgate-on-sea to london (a return is £20, so call it £10)
MEGABUS london to oxford £1.50 - dep 20.20
TRAIN didcot to bristol parkway - £15
AIRPORT TRANSFER bristol parkway to airport £6

MEGABUS oxford to london - £1.50 - dep 6pm

i could do birmingham london which is only £3 but i get there at the same time and i have to find a way to the bus stop in birminghm, where i don't know my way around.


now, for £20, i am going to drive and save me all of this hell, but does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas i might have missed?
