First Direct £50.00 incentive

I transferred to First Direct from HSBC to get the £50.00 incentive to change banks, this was about 4 months ago. My salary has been paid in since then (over the £1000.00 specified), but no money was credited to my account. I emailed them last week to enquire. I received an email back, apologising for this error, and that it would be credited (they did give a timescale, but I can't remember what it was). Don't know if this is a scam to get people to transfer hoping that they would forget, or if it was a genuine error. Money has now been credited to my account.

I got my £50 aswell after 3 (ish) months and an email.

When I changed to First Direct (about 5 years ago) they also paid £25 if they made any mistakes. Keep a close eye on them as if they do ask for compensation

I was promised £50 28 days after having £100 in the account on 31/5/06. I had the money in, and they gave me £50 last week. The £100 deposited was the same £100 Barclays gave me for opening their account a while back!
