Do I need to report this to DWP?

I am disabled and on income support and DLA. My husband is my carer and stays home with me. He has been dabbling in internet marketing In the last 4 weeks he has earned about 120£. When do we need to tell the DWP about his internet marketing? It may or may not be a steady income, we don't know when and where he will get any income from this.

Should we start to claim this money on our joint IS claim? Or should I claim IS on my own and put down he works 24 hrs??

Really confused. :confused:Any help would be much appreciated.

If you read the information that came on your award letters, it's quite clear that you muct declare any income (even if below the limit) or change in circumstances - it's up to the DWP to decide if it's relevant in calculating the amount due.

Don't end up in a muddle in the future if they then ask you to prove xxx :)

As per your benefits letter you need to let the DWP as soon as a change of circumstances occur.

Internet marketing? please provide more details.

Is it solely making cash on the side or serious business-like venture/intention?
