The Claims Guys

Just had a phone call from them - cold calling.
I said I was in the middle of a claim and doing it myself.
The saleman's next line was 'we can help, we are part of the Department of Justice'
I asked him to repeat it, and then once more to say that they were part of the government.
I asked him for his name, and explained that I work for the government (well, local government, being a teacher).
He rang off
To whom should I complain?
OFT? Trading Standards?

They may just take details from you but at least they can see their sales practice is not within regulations etc and hopefully others would have complained also.

I have emailed The Claims guys and have forwarded a copy to the BBC Watchdog and Money Box.
I have also submitted an online complaint via the MoJ website0 -
The claims guys are a disgrace. They cold called me and told me I had been mis-sold. This was even after I told her that I was an IFA and I did all my own insurances. She didnt seem to know what an IFA was.
Good for you for complaining.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
