I have booked to go to Thailand in April and am slightly concerned at the political situation. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any travel insurance policies that cover civil unrest/protests, as I havent been able to find one.
Thanks in advance for any advice given.

No is the simple answer, and as you have waited until now even if there was one, you'd probably not get covered for this trip.
You should insure the trip as soon as you book the first thing. Example if you booked a holiday to (say) Vietnam and a week before you fly out the Vietnam War kicks off again, do you really think any insurer will take the policy knowing that they will have to pay out.
The problem is that the reason (or one reason) is that it is an uncontrollable situation and if you are going to a place where this is a possibility, then why go and risk it?C. (Ex-Pat Brit)
