Removing Old Lino

Options
I have recently removed old lino in my kitchen and it was glued down with additional sticky strips round the edging. Some of it came off whilst heaving it all up but the floor has been left with parts where it remains stuckfast and it is also sticky underfoot. I am due to get new lino put down and was wondering if there was anything I could use to remove and get the floor clean/clear in preparation?

I have always found a heat gun is best use it to soften up the area you need and then use a scraper to lift of
