Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question (I am struggling with google!). At the moment OH & I are ineligible for any state benefits but OH's job is looking a little uncertain (I'm a stay at home mum) & if he had to change jobs then he would most likely have to take a (potentially substantial) pay cut. This would then bring us back under the threshold for CTC (but probably not WTC). However, would we be able to claim immediately? It's just that I'm sure I've seen before that they base it on your previous annual income.....
Thanks if you can offer any answers
