Quick lha question

Sorry just a quick lha question as im a little confused

Due to move to a new flat in a different borough (london borough of bromley) from sevenoaks council

in my currant house i get 3 bedroom lha rate (and have to top up rest of rent as lha doesnt cover it) rent is £725

new place is 2 bedrooms and rent is £850pcm

looking at bromleys lha im not 100% sure if i only get 2 bedroom rate or if i will get 3 bedroom rate thus all rent covered

its me and 3 little ones all boys (hence sevenoaks give me 3 bedroom rate)

thank you x

You should get the three bed rate even though you're in a two bed property. LHA is based on household size. You may even get an additional £15 a week on top dependant on your circumstances.
