Hi there,
I'm relocating to Sydney, Australia in a couple of weeks time and need a suitcase! When I've travelled before I've used a backpack or hand luggage, and for relocating we need a case each (boyfriend and I).
We're flying with Singapore Airlines and our baggage allowance is 20kg each so I'm looking for a cheapie nice case that will suit our needs.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Thanks I'll check it out.
Any other suggestions?0 -
Regardless of how big a case is, you are restricted to what you can put in it by the baggage allowance of the airline.0

The limit is by mass, not volume. So you can fill a case with light weight things and still be under 20 kilograms.Hoping this year is better than the last.0

Argos have some large wheely holdalls - depends whether you're taking gold bars or your collection of crean crackers as to whether you need 80 litres (these end up around 20kg for my hols packing).

There can be a size limitation as well as the weight. Some cases I see in the shops look too big.
If you are taking nothing fragile a holdall with wheels are the lightest - if you are strong, do without the wheels, I`ll save you a bit of weight. I put heavy none liquid stuff in the carry on. It all helps.0 -
If you have 20kg each you can use 1 huge one and a small one, they will just put a sticker on your bag saying its heavy and over 20kg, as a family weve always shared the allowance between us this way.I brought a huge holdal from the airport luggage shop as some of the luggage ive had before had rubbish zips and I wanted a strong one, 6 years later its still going strong. Id pay a little more to make sure you get good zips. Morrisons have some half price cases that are extendable, I think their biggest is £25 and there in nice colours as well.0
