I bought two, a few months ago, one for me and one for my wife. Hers is fine but mine has started doing odd things.
It turns off by itself.
It resets the default ring and text tones.
And other odd things.
Is this normal or like a PC is their anything I can do or should I take it back for a refund or exchange?

The only thing I'd suggest is to take a close look at the battery terminals in the unlikely event that they are not making reliable contact with the battery when it's moved about.
Other than that there's not much you can do yourself but take it back as faulty and have it replaced.0 -
If you bought two identical phones and one is behaving as you would expect but the other does weird stuff such as you mention then taking back for a refund seems to me to be the way to go.
Luckily most supermarkets don't mess you around with sending stuff off for repair so with any luck you'll either get a straight swap if they still sell that model or a refund. Make sure you keep your own SIM - esp. if PAYG.0 -
What model are the phones - some are known to be problematic ...0
