Hear what you are saying but very difficult to say that account is in dispute when there appears to be absolutely no grounds to dispute.

I'll ignore the posts which have since been deleted.

When I initially complained to Lloyds, I received the standard letter stating that they could see no grounds for hardship and the standard comments regarding the bank charges reclaiming case in the high court. i have not received a letter from Lloyds formally rejecting my claim, so as far as I am concerned the account is still in dispute.

I will write to the solicitors to inform them that the account is still in dispute and lodge my complaint to the ombudsman

On what grounds are you saying it is in dispute?
