Sun Holidays - Postal applications

So i have been reading the 'codes' thread but there dosnt seem to be anything for those of us that have applied the old fashioned way by collecting the tokens, sending a cheque and keeping our fingers crossed!
I have a few questions if anyone can help
So the form went of in the post first thing yesterday morning.
We picked 5 Mon-Fri dates in October/November and put a choice of 5 parks. From reading the codes thread most people seem to have gone for the spring dates and not the parks we have chose so what do you think the chances are of getting our No 1 choices? Does anyone know how they allocate date first then park or park then date? I prefer the Park on any of the gvien dates (butlins bognor!!)
Last question, they say you will receive confirmation by the 15th Feb I think, does anyone know when they will cash the cheque? Im hoping its not this week or next as dont get paid until next friday!

why did I need to ask before posting the form? Where did I say I didnt want certain times or dates that I put down? Im more than happy with the park choices and date choices but I do have a preference is that not why you put them in number order? what you would 'prefer' first??
Of course I have the money to cover it, I just wondered when it was likely to be cashed thats all!
I know Im a new poster but no need to treat me like an idiot thanks!!!

Hi, its been a few years since I applied by post but I'm dredging my memory banks for you

I have never quite worked out whether they go by park then date or vice versa because even when I do it online it makes no sense. I know that may not seem like a lot of help but I am trying and hopefully someone will come on with their views too.

From what I can remember you should be ok with the cheque cashing. Cheques usually take about a week to clear anyway so allowing for postage time plus handling time I'm sure you'll be fine with your wages.

The one thing that has always puzzled me though is that request for a loose first class stamp. Whatever do they do with it? They certainly don't use it to return your holiday details and I'm sure they wouldn't send things over to the camp sites one at a time - does anyone know?

Good luck with your holiday choice, I hope you get Bognor like you want. Small tip, there are up and downstairs 'chalets' there so if you do get it and would prefer one or the other ring them about a week before you go and ask them. Much easier than trying to do it when you get there and everything has already been allocated.

i had to use the postal system as, even tho we had a priority booking form the website crashed while we were entering our details.

Decided to just add the whole of devon cornwall and somerset, after all the accomodation is only a base for us, we intend to go explore each day!!

Fingers crossed we get somewhere.......
