Love this :rotfl:
Asparagus wee is one of the joys of life! Love it when my lo has aparagus and dippy egg.
First time he had beetroot, well my husbands face was a picture for that nappy! If you eat enough your wee goes pink..... that has to work with any kid doesn't it?Well behaved women rarely make history.0 -
My older kids went through a phase of hating veg ( the love fruit tho) anyway we didn't make a fuss. every meal veg was served. all we asked was they at least try it, even if it was the smallest of bite . ( my son would often just lick it,lol) Anyway it is now paying off my son is 4 and daughter is 6 and they eat it. they may not always like it, but they eat it without saying anything. My daughter has now decided she hates roast pot's. made me laugh couple weeks back she swapped her 1 roast for about 10 sprouts just so she didn't have to eat it. so she really must dislike roasties, lol.
My youngest son 21m is going through a phase of eating really picky with everything apart from fruit and cheese . so were doing the same with him as what we did with the older 2 and hoping he will naturally come out of the phase.0 -

Other people have suggested growing things - but it sounds like your dog will get there first. So how about growing them on your windowsill? Salad leaves are so easy on window sills as are the dwarf tomato plants.
Try mashed up butternut as well which is lovely and sweet.
And how about just not having any sweet snacks at home, so when he pesters you for snacks you can say that the only snacks you have are carrot batons or crunchy peppers? If he was really hungry he'd eat them.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -

Cress is a good one for kids to grow and if you save an egg shell from a boiled egg, you can draw a face on it, fill it with cotton wool, dampen it, then sprinkle the seeds on. When it grows, it will look like the egg face has hair.0
