Hi, My daughter and Partner have just had a baby and have been hit with a £600 gas bill,this is due to only estimated bills for one and a half years. Does anyone now of any help / grants they can apply for? He has a full time job but are finding it hard to stop going into dedit. Thanks

They have given a current reading, and now have a £600 bill.0

If they contact their supplier, they should be able to agree a repayment plan regarding any amassed debt. Usually this can be negotiated over the period the debt accrued. i.e. 18 months in this case.
(equivilent to repaying just over £1 per day

Grants for the consequences of not comparing the bill with the meter? If they did that, then nobody would read the meter. Oh, wait, nobody reads their meter.
