All of 'em except one tried giving me hassle. (DCA's I mean) That was the last one, when I was setting up for one of the phone ones. It was ludicrous, they'd already accepted the £1 a month by taking it for 2 months and not returning it, then insisting there wasn't a payment plan set up.

Me too, and it's not really one post that's reportable it's just the whole conversation from their point of view.

Sammy, DCA's really drive me mad sometimes. There was someone on here the other day who'd been convinced by one that they were more important than council tax arrears, and by not paying a DCA they'd be breaking the law. It makes me want to scream. It should be law that along with a default notice a leaflet should be sent explaining people's rights in simple terms.

I did mean the poster rather than just one post....

I have found from talking to other people at the minute that DCA's have gone from heavy handed chasing to a bit more of a softly softly approach....like they are trying to help you. So whereas the people who used to shout loudest got paid first, now its if a DCA appears to be helping you you would be so grateful that you will pay them what you can...IYSWIM

I seriously wonder about my own motor skills sometimes...I have just poured boiling hot water over my hand rather than in the cup!

And yet if you stopped paying they'd claim that your payments meant you'd entered into a contract with them...

Cos of the mix up with the takeaway the other night I've got a £5 voucher from them, yay!

Yes, breathe.....they are obviously just a troll....I can't report cos I am on webmail at the minute but I wish someone would.....

I have reported it Sammy but unless you read the whole thread it doesn't seem too bad - and abuse wanted individual posts to look at!

The other person on there (Jazabelle) is my daughter, also sticking up for Ames - as Ames helped her once with some DLA advice!

Ouch Sammy, I hope it doesn't hurt too much. I tried making a coffee on a plate the other week, caught myself just in time!

Oh I think you can report the whole thread if you think its descending into abuse...

I often report the daily chat...in error!
