order from next

i placed an order from next in december for a digital camera, it stated that the item would be delayed for 1-2 weeks but was not out of stock, to this date i have not had the item and after a telephone call this morning i am being told this item is now out of stock and i will not be getting it, i purposly did not go anywhere else to get this camera as it was on offer at a good price and all the other shops have now put the price back up.

How do i stand as when most thing on the next site are out of stock it says so.

You stand to get a refund and that's it

Can't say I'd use my company for electric purchases at all.

If you were buying out of the Directory for the monthly payments then there's a few other catalogue style shops out there

(one of my pet joys when I was store based...informing uppity directory customers that they are indeed catalogue shoppers :A)
