Windows Mediaplayer - doubleclicking?

Ok, I have my driving theory test in a few weeks and I have a theory and hazard perception disk I've borrowed from my boyfriend.

On the hazard perception, it doesn't seem to register me clicking on hazards on the hazard perception test and if I doubleclick it just resizes the window  This isn't an issue on the main theory test.

Can anyone tell me how to either disable this doubleclick resizing business or a player that I can actually do my hazard perception in? Pretty please?

Are you saying that when you double click on a "main theory test" video in Windows Media Player, that something happens other than the switching between window and full screen playback?

Windows Media Player does by default switch between full screen and a window on double clicking. Are you sure you are not supposed to be running some application on the disk? Have you asked your boyfriend for advice?
