Daft techiE question ...

Options
Well I am trying to sell this on ebay - I know its a memory card and reader but am confused as to what I should describe it as further than that.

The Memory card doesnt seem to say what quantity of memory it has on it ... or is that what the writing is?

Also any ideas on prices etc as I could really do with the money and would like to have some idea of prices if I get any requests for BIN.

Thanks

Jen

Why not plug it in and check the "quantity of memory it has on it"

Sorry to say but it looks very outdated lol.

Would help if photo showed the card's connectors, also, it is hard to see the card when it is in a case.

If the card says 'SmartMedia' on it, then you might as well throw it in the bin. If it is 'Compact Flash' (also known as 'CF'), then it still has a market value if large-enough, but do bear in mind that a new 16G/b CF 133x card can be had for £17.00.

Judging from the size of the card and reader when compared to the usb plug, I doubt it is an Xd or SD card.

If you threw in the Biro and Notepad in the corner, it might be worth about £4 (inc p&p).

Sorry, but it is almost worthless

Not sure what size card you have but if it's old, you probably couldn't buy it now it's so outdated.

    I think:

Portable Compact Flash Reader, USB 1.1
    Sold around April 2004?
Once sold by PC Line \ Advent

Memory card - maybe a Canon FC8M compact flash card?
    8 MB capacity
Picture is a bit hard to see

    Total value: 0.00
